Very tasty food. I tried the red snapper. It was fresh and perfectly cooking.
I tried horchata, yummy!
My husband have a ensalada drink, which is a mixed of natural fruits.
We started with nachos carne asada and chicken, they were tasty and fresh.

Ate here on recommendation of friend who is from Texas and she said it's the best she has found in the D.C. area. I had my usual Carne Asada. Could very easily been perfect. First, service, waitperson and cleanliness was great. Restaurant even had Aloe Vera in pots glowing in windows. Prices reasonable. Wife said chicken flautas were some of best she has ever had. Ok here's my suggestions from someone who lived in Texas over 60 years..First, scrap the salad with Italian dressing (serve that with fries and chicken fried steak). Your refritos (refried beans and melted cheese are world class but not served with the Carne Asada???? One shouldn't to have to ask for tortillas. At the time of placing the order you should be asked flour or corn. With the quantity of meat 4 should be the default. Guacamole was good, but you could tell it was prepackaged from the texture (and the quantity was lacking). Only excuse for not using freshly made is if you can't get them. Need to provide more than just a small paper ketchup cup. Ok now for the final improvement. The Meat! Flavor B+/A- but that's a chef's discretion and differentiates each restaurant. However, it was way too thick. Cut it thinner, beat it with a meat hammer or back over it several times with your pickup. Also, I ordered it medium just to see where that dart hit the board. In South Texas and Mexico one always orders bien casida (well done) not necessary with modern conveniences it's no longer necessary. However, part of it was so rare I couldn't eat it. If it was thinner you almost can't make that mistake. So that's it. All the pieces are there to be number one on TA for Arlington in Mexican food! Good luck and I will be back,

A small, family-owned gem that has a wide variety of Central American entrees. Margaritas are reasonably priced, although a little too sweet (for my taste); parking is very limited; and you may arrive only to learn there is a huge event going on or that the restaurant is closed altogether for an event. So have a Plan B.

This is a fantastic place for Tex-mex and Salvadorean food. Try the pork and cheese papusas! The fajitas and lomo saltado are also excellent, as is everything else I've tried. Friendly and fast service, reasonable prices -- all the locals go here, for good reason. My family and I go regularly.

What a surprise! Pupusas to start, exceptional marinated ribeye tex-mex style, and coconut-crusted fried ice cream to finish, with margaritas, of course... MUST save room for their unique fried ice cream. One of those special combinations of just great food and great staff makes it well worth a drive. Our new tex-mex place!
