Reviewed 24 March 2017

23 March 2017: Hotel is in the midst of being refurbished throughout its grounds including the main lobby. It looks to be an improvement.
This is NOT a 4 or 5 star hotel - at most about 3 stars.
- within 5 min of airport
- spacious room
- sufficient electrical sockets and lighting in room
- good lunch in restaurant
- next door to good Italian restaurant (Trattoria)
- room decor outdated and worn; closet doors do not easily close; no hotpot (tea, coffee) or mini fridge; TV channels do not always work; card key often demagnetizes
- bathroom without bidet; hair dryer is weak; hot shower in evenings only
- extremely poor buffet breakfast
- no water in the swimming pool
- conference rooms are behind the hotel so you must go outside and walk 5 min to them
- wifi Internet is completely useless in room (too slow), slightly better in restaurant but still very slow; access expires every 1-2 days

Room Tip: rooms on 1st floor seem to have been refurbished that may be slightly smaller than 2nd or 3rd floor but are better quality

I liked this hotel, which is quiet and peaceful, exactly what you need tired upon arrival or for the night before departure early in the morning. It is clean and has what it says it has. Wi-fi was a bit flaky and the cuisine wasn't haut de gamme but dinner and breakfast was discreetly and professionally served.

staff helpful;
good hotel, very clean, nice welcome at the reception, navette available for the aeroport, very good breakfast, diner too, nice location in front of the aeroport, nice garden, a lot of meeting room and sports room.
but, apparently they are renewing the first floor si there are some disagreements.
i think that it's one of the best balance quality price in the region

I stayed from March 16th till March 20th 2014 to attend the 2nd International Tourism Workshop in Oran as an expert to promote the destination.
The organizers booked us in Eden Phoenix.
Arrival was late night 11pm since we drove from Algiers.
We were immediately greeted by the bellman which made a very good first impression after a 4 hours drive...
Check In was quick and efficient.

1- Helpful staff
2- Good beds
3- Free Wifi
4- Excellent breakfast
5- Very good service
6- Excellent breakfast

1- Far from the Conference Centre (CCO)
2- No taxis, you have to wait a long time
3- No water hose in the toilets
4- Toilets are not separated with the bathroom
5- Excessive charges while using the credit card
6- Use of mobile phones by Reception staff
7- Lobby washrooms not kept very well
8- Alcohol very expensive in the lobby bar
9- Rooms overpriced for the comfort...

Overall it was very nice, good job...

Had a big issue with the airline losing my case, but the hotel staff were really helpful. They checked with the airport several times to see if it had arrived.

The hotel itself is not too bad. Rooms were nice and spacious, clean. Minor issue with the shower head holder being loose so the shower head wouldn't stay in one position. And the air-con unit didn't produce much cold air, despite being on full and being very noisy.

Didn't eat at the upstairs restaurant as I had been pre-warned that it was quite pricey, so I ate at the downstairs buffet restaurant......and it was quite pricey, so be warned!

All-in-all, not a bad place to stay. But make sure you have some local currency with you when you arrive in the country as the ATMs don't always work, or at least have some US dollars.

Note to Air Algerie.........please send me my case back!
