My husband and I stayed at this amazing hotel for 2 nights and I have to say I am sad we couldn't stay longer. This gem of a place is run by a French gentleman by the name of Didier, who greeted us upon arrival despite our late arrival. I must say that what blew me away was the unbelievable staff: they were unbelievably attentive and so helpful. In all our travels (and we have travelled quite a bit), this is one of those places that you almost want to keep a secret for yourself. But honestly, absolutely a must stay of you are considering visiting Salvador. Just note that if you are using Uber, make sure to tell them to drop you off at Terreio de Jesus and walk the 3 min to the hotel as the street the hotel is located on is not accessible to Uber or cars, except for taxis.
The rooms are clean and the personal tour given to us by the person at reception upon check-inwas one of the best we have ever had. Also don't miss out on the delicious breakfast which is included.
The only downside for us was the poor internet reception once we were in our room but this in no way impacts how amazing this hotel is. If we could give it more stars we would!
