When you walk in a restaurant and see the owner as both host and bus person you detail is being paid attention to. Mark, the owner, has his eye on everything in the place. The staff are as friendly and fun as you could ever hope to find anywhere. And did I mention the food. Baked sausage come from a 3rd generation butcher down the street. Sauerkraut is homemade and tastes it. Just good honest food here.

Great food, especially the Friday night fish fry but get there early or after 8:30pm. Really great menu other than the fish fry. The service was great! My only one complaint is that there was some sort of nasty seasoning on the french fries. Told the waitress and she took them to the kitchen and got fries without seasoning.

A little bit of a nicer supper club vibe. I enjoyed some duck with cranberry sauce that was on special.
The old fashion was top notch though, tip of the hat to the barkeep.

This local favorite offers a fantastic fish fry! The German fare is definitely worth taking a chance on. The scotch egg and sauerkraut balls are unique and definitely a favorite. Tell them you are a 1st time visitor for free samples of their unique items and other incentives. The bar is diverse with a selection of old fashions, bourbons, rye and German Beir. The wine list also has something for everyone in all price points. Come often there are endless options!
