I stayed here originally had three nights booked but reduced to two nights as i could not bear the dirty rooms and bathroom. The room had ants nests everywhere and very old facilities. The staff actually admit that this hotel needs major renovation.
i stayed prior to this in the amazon and i had a much better experience with little bites. I woke up despite using insect repellent all over my body covered in bites, it was horrible.
The bed sheets were dirty and towels and smelly.
There is a travel company who like to charge you more for the excursions than the national parks. so i would buy tickets at the door and if you want to do the helicopter ride. Also, the company knew that there was a bank holiday on Friday but did not advise that there would be 3 hr waiting queues in the parks!!
there is not much to do in Iguzu, just two waterfalls which u can defy see in one day if you start early!!
i would not stay here and not recommend. only good thing was the staff who friendly and helpful (Tiago) and the breakfast selection.
Really research the hotels in Iguzu.More
