Emporio com Arte was our favourite place in our whole honeymoon in Brazil! It's a lovely cafe and bistrot where you can have a snack or a whole meal, surrounded by beautiful art and handcrafts that you can also buy. The menu is only in Portuguese, but all the staff speak really good English and can explain every delicacy extremely well. The stuffed courgettes were our favourite ones and we had them for two nights in a row! The crepes were also delicious, and we had the best juice ever: coconut water with passion fruit, strawberries and lime! The best feature of the place though is the fact that the owners, Luiz and Sergio, are extremely warm and welcoming!
This place has a romantic and unique vibe, that we will always treasure in our hearts!

We went yesterday for dinner based on Emporio Com Arte being number one on TripAdvisor and were a bit disappointed! TripAdvisor is always our go to reference for good restaurants but I guess this time we were expecting much. Here is the scoop: the place is very cute and very welcoming. The waiters are very helpful and explained to us all items on the menu in English. The Strawberry Caprinia looked amazing but was very watery even after adding another shot of liquor. The chicken curry was ok but nothing special. The dumpling appetizers were good. A cute place but the food was nothing special.

Really lovely staff and a beautiful location. I loved sitting on the patio. The chicken/banana/pineapple curry was nice and I had the watermelon juice as well. The staff was very kind and attentive!
