Just one night here, but the hotel is a bit boring chain hotel. Not so nice, nothing special.
Have a pool area on top floor overview the beautiful Ilha do Amor- Love Island. Also visible from the bedroom.
Room is spacious 40 m2, but without charm.
Breakfast is normal for Nordeste, but nothing more.
Outside area is deserted at night- to be avoided.
Staff is professional, some are extra gentle.
Change your interior architect... it’s too cold.

It’s very hard to beat the view from the 23rd floor. It is amazing. Our room was spacious, bed was very comfortable and the wifi worked very well throughout the hotel. Breakfast was good, and it was nice to have a very good security driving to and from the parking garage. Water pressure was very good in our 23rd floor room, but in our earlier room in the 18th floor it was not that good. Water was sometimes even too warm, and sometimes it was only lukewarm. But in general it was nice. Location is not the best possible. Without a car there’s no place to go, and you cannot go for a walk, especially not when it’s dark. There are no restaurants in the area either.

But the infinity pool is pretty amazing on top of the hotel. I’d definitely stay at this hotel again when I return to Jaboatao dos Guararapes. But if I wanted to see the sights or have any business in Recife, I’d probably find a hotel closer to Avenida Boa Viagem.

I booked to stay at this hotel for 1 week in January but ended up staying one night. Upon arrival I was very impressed by the decor and the friendliness of the staff. I had a spacious double bedroom with a stunning view of the surrounding area. The bathroom was also very spacious with a massive shower. The disappointment started when I ventured out of my bedroom. The swimming pool is on the roof and is quite small and can become quite crowded. As it's on the roof it was quite windy and was quite chilly at night. It was an infinity pool and really not the best for swimming...although people did anyway, resulting in anyone sitting around the pool becoming drenched. In addition there did not seem to be any kind of entertainment for guests so the hotel was quite boring.

When I went to explore the surrounding area it became quite apparent that this was a town which was under construction and Tryp were just one of the first hotel chains to plant a branch in what I'm sure will eventually becoming a booming touristy area. However, as it stands, the entire place is filled with half built buildings and scaffolding. There really wasn't much to the area aside from a beach. The food options in the hotel were quite limited and there weren't many options in the surrounding area either. At night the surrounding area also seemed quite sketchy and unsafe.

As a result I decided to move to a hotel in a different area. This is where the real problems started. Prior to leaving I spoke to the hotel staff and told them I wasn't happy with the hotel. As I payed for a week's stay when I arrived, I asked if it was possible to stay one night and get the rest of the week refunded. They agreed but stated it was not possible to get the refund processed straight away as it was the weekend but the refund would be processed on Monday. I asked for a receipt as confirmation and left the following day. On the Monday I received an email from the hotel asking for my details to process the refund, which I sent them, and was told the refund would go through by the following day. A week later, still no refund. I emailed them and did not get a response until 2 weeks later telling me the refund would not be processed until March. March came and went and still no refund. I went back and forth with them via email until I was FINALLY able to get the money refunded to me via money gram at the end of April. Suffice to say I will NOT be recommending this hotel to anyone. The fact that I tried calling Tryp's customer care to complain and got ZERO support also left a bad taste in my mouth and will be avoiding the entire hotel chain entirely.
