Despite the winter weather, this home offered warmth and a cozy atmosphere. The wall colours of each room complimented the early sunrise and the sea. An absolutely delightful find for Buzios because the beach was quiet and the sea swimmable even for long distances when the waters are calm. As an added treat to a seaside escape was the fresh fish market close by in Porto da Barra selling a variety of sashimi quality fish - very very fresh. Bring your wasabe. It is close enough to the historic town of Buzios but just far enough so you can retreat to your own quiet hideaway. Kitchen was clean, complete and comes with the cooperative Olivia who can prepare cooked dishes and desserts upon arrangement.

This villa is so tastefully decorated and so well situated. Each room is a different bright color with beautiful furnishings and accessories from all over the world. Aside from three bedrooms, there are three different sitting areas so lots of space to relax and enjoy, individually or as a group. We had a rendez-vous and reunion of old friends from different parts of the world here and we couldn't have chosen a better place. The villa faces the beach and sunrise. We made a point of getting up every morning for a sunrise walk and had the beach to ourselves. Even during the day, there were few people on the beach. It is an easy bus ride or taxi from the town of Buzios, which is lovely. We were so happy at the villa though that we only made one trip into Buzios during our stay. Olivia, the caretaker, was delightful and so helpful. She shopped for us and helped us prepare all of our meals. And she makes a great caipirinha! We all had a wonderful time on our trip to Brasil but this was the highlight!
