I ended up going here 4 Times during my stay in Rio. I really liked how easy it was to get whatever you wanted to eat. there are many many options. Meats, salads, desserts. You have some traditions Brazilian foods (rice, bean, farofa, brigadeiro...), on Saturday they even had feijoada. Mid-range price I would say, pretty cheap if you intend to eat a light lunch or dinner. Overall I really enjoyed this place.

This was mine and my boyfriends first experience of a kilo restaurant and we ate here for lunch a few days ago.

The premise is simple and self explanatory once inside, you grab a plate, fill up and get it weighed at the end of the counter. The price of your meal is dependent on the weight of your plate.

The choice of food was good and varied, from rice and beans, salads, pasta and plenty of meat options.

My plate was 18.89BRL and my boyfriend's was around 20BRL. This plus a drink makes for a pretty reasonably priced lunch. However, the price is compromised by the quality; the food was a little on the cold side and the flavour was kind of bland.

Overall I'm glad we tried a kilo as it's an experience within itself and appears unique to Brazil, however I don't think I'd return to this particular restaurant.

This is a self-service by kilo restaurant. They have a good variety of salads and chicken, meat, salmon and pastas.
The food always look well no matter the time of the day. Have been there more then once.

The food was reasonably priced compared to other buffets in the area. All the food was delicious and lots of variety to pick from.

While travelling and dining in different restaurants, I always crave for salads after a while, so this is the right place to have lunch with numerous dishes of meat and salads, vegetables, fruits!
Love this type of buffet but remember that your plate gets weighed and you pay accordingly! So it can vary from 15 reals to over 20 reals depending how much you put in your plate!
