The place is small and cozy. Start by having a Negroni at the bar and then move on to a table. Depending on the mood, you may go for a traditional entrée-main dish-dessert course or stick to the tapas, which I strongly suggest. Service is very attentive and the wine list is great. Just get ready for the bill, it might come up very salty.
In a nutshell: if you like Mediterranean food, seriously consider it.

The moules are marvelous. We always back. We love Adega Sabtiago. I’m from Paris and the moules are specials. Good wines, ask for sommelier Plinio and the garçon Erik.

Next to noisy avenues such as Rebouças and Faria Lima there is this place around the corner on a quiet local street. Inside you have a tavern-like ambient. Outside you have some tables and benchs along the sidewalk. Most of chairs are just horrible making you feel very uncomfortable in few minutes. Dinner and lunch times are always crowded and noisy, so I prefer going there on Sundays at the end of the day (by 17-18h when the sun is getting down). If you're w a small group of friends I'll suggest staying on the bench and spend your evening ordering appetizers and drinks. My favorite ones: gambas al ajillo (shrimps w garlic, olive oil and paprika), duck's croquettas (kind of dumplings) and Jamon and fig tostadas (it's a tapa w smoked ham and fig). I don't remember their names but the drinks w bourbon are delicious. In time: not cheap mostly if you have wine.
