This hotel is in a seedy part of the city but if you get a taxi directly there and walk inside there is no problem whatsoever. The hotel is a basic style hotel but the rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable. I recall that there was quite a bit of noise at night. Apparently there is a disco across the road. The breakfast was also quite good. If you don't mind staying downtown then it is a very acceptable choice. But you must try the acai milkshake from the juice bar next door. I was actually quite sick during my stay due to a bout of dehydration and after throwing up all day I was given an acai drink from next door. Within ten minutes I had completely recovered. I wish I'd had it at the beginning of the day instead of at the end!

Mr. MATHEO ,The Receptionist , English speaking gentleman very professional & a very good advisor . We stayed there 29 May to 31 May & then 5 June to 11 June. Our stay was excellent . Though Sao Paulo is not a tourist friendly city . Lot of tourist crime is there . One should be very care full in the streets & shoping areas.

I visited in June during the world cup. My taxi dropped us off at night, and the front of the hotel resembled Skid Row in Los Angeles. Once we got inside, everything was clean, and service was fine checking in.The elevator broke down a few times during our stay, which made being on the 7th floor lame. Street noise was loud during the day. Also, there was a disco across the street at our earshot that became very lively around midnight, bring your earplugs The door to the room didn't seem very secure. A quick kick could knock it down. Bathroom is adequate, as was breakfast. I would not recommend this hotel to any female traveling alone or anyone that worries about security.

I stayed in this hotel in July 2014 during World Cup Soccer. I liked the location of very much -- everything is within walking distance. The bus stands and train stations are very close. Also it is very close to the popular market place on De Marco Avenue. It provides free wi-fi access which is very useful.

Room tip: Go to the top floor to avoid city noise.

The hotel is in downtown Sao paulo, in a place where is not recommended to go out at night. Not a lot of places to eat around the hotel. The rooms are basic, clean rooms. The staff is kind but most of the staff dont speak english (we communicted with google translate).
