The chef and owner of this house is very special person. Spanish from Malaga his kitchen is very very good close to traditions of Spain. The Paella Marinera was very good, and hot and tasty. The portion is huge and you can tal was is left for another meal. The house is run by the family. The space is simple accordingly with Spanish decoration . But what attracts you here is a personal waiting, friendship, good food and fair prices. Excellent quality of the products used. The olive oil in the tables are 0,2 % acidity and made in Spain good virgin stuff. I could take the bottle of my own wine and he does not charge anything for it. His in law Marcelo is also a chef of main course dishes and sweets like Mille foglie , and other delicious desserts. The Crema catalana at the end was nice!!!!

The newest restaurant to visit. The paella is great and with a great taste; people will receive you very friendly and help you to choose what kind of food is good and match the best vine. They have typical desserts. The price is fair.

Let me start by saying that opening a Spanish restaurant is an ambitious move. Spanish gastronomy is among the best in the world and falling short of expectations is easy.

The owners of this newly opened restaurant are very nice people, they really are. That´s why I´m terribly sorry to say that they got all wrong.

Starting with the name. You may expect a restaurant from Andalucia, right? Look at the picture above, that´s paella! I guess they visited Granada one but didn´t really look and what people was eating...

Then one you cross the door you find two sort of undescriptible windows with water bubbles and neon colors. Frankly, I grew up in Spain and only seen anything like that in Chinese restaurants (and the cheap ones).

Taking all your courage to cross those doors you get received by the staff, all dressed in an inexplicable black outfit with a red scarf, inspired, I guess, on the catholic priests and the San Fermin "peñas". They are all nice, friendly and professional but their average age and manners make the service just too old-fashioned.

Decoration is all over the place, full of stereotypes and cliches but no personality or even good taste.

Finally the food is again all wrong. Start dishes are paellas and rices and are not more than yellow-brazilian-rice, nothing even close to paella that in any case you won´t ever expect to have in a restaurant called Alhambra.

It´s just to sad seeing all those tons of effort, illusion, work and money ending up in this mess.
