Been at the hotel during easter. The restaurant was closed due to the holiday which sounded a little bit weird. Also there was a renovation going on with the terrace so we haven't had the chance to enjoy a coffee outside. Having to wait for your room to be prepared after ages of flight over atlantic doesn't help at all. Not to mention the lost booking that caused a slight stress. But the staff is very helpful and kind, the price was reasonable, rooms are spacious and clean. The location is one of the pros. Beware: not at the center of, but reasonably close to paulista and oscar freire. You still have to walk quite a bit. The locals recommended me to take a taxi at night to oscar freire instead of walking. My stay was pleasant but I didn't feel like it was my home in sao paulo. I think the early check in issue must be taken very seriously
by the hotels in this part of the world.

The neighborhood is safe and there are tons of restaurants in the area. Take a 15-20 minute walk in any direction and you have even more. Staff speaks good English and the breakfast buffet was very well done. Wi-fi is free with code. Highly recommend.

This hotel is not fancy by any means, and actually needs some serious refurbishment. The rooms are decent sized, but bathrooms are VERY VERY small. However, the friendliness of the front office staff, their willingness to help and the extra effort they make to make you comfortable, is worth staying at the hotel. We stayed there for nearly two weeks for the world cup. and our stay would have been hell if it had not been for their help. First we did not speak the language, and then my husband fell sick. The staff helped us in every way possible, and one of them called Elder, even accompanied us to the hospital, and stayed with us, to make sure we did not face any
language problems. The location of the hotel is also fantastic, right near the shopping areas. For anyone travelling to sao paulo for the first time and cannot speak portugese, i highly recomend this hotel if you want to feel safe and at home. Thank you to all the staff at this hotel for making our two weeks so memorable, especially Elder for all your help. Obligado!!

Room tip: stay away from rooms facing the main road

Only stayed for one night, they let us cancel one night as our plans changed. Reception is a little small in my opinion. Pool area on roof is small but perfectly adequate with great views. Breakfast buffet was best I had in Brazil. The location feels very safe, plenty of restaurants and bars in walking distance. Rooms are modern and large, bathrooms a little small tho.

Hotel is in a really good location, safe to walk around the surrounding area. Walking distance for getting something to eat. The metro is a 10 min walk up a hill, we found walking up Alameda Campinas better, paths are wider and less traffic.
We had a few problems when we arrived, no iron in the room and air conditioning remote did not work. These were very quickly sorted. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel offers a free shuttle within 5km, we did use it once. There is always a taxi outside or just up the road if you dont fancy walking.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. There is a kitchenette in the room but it does not have a kettle only a coffee maker which we improvised with, also a fridge with a mini bar, which is re-stocked everytime you use it
The restaurant was hardly ever open of an evening not sure if this was because the football was on.
Breakfast had a good selection, but after a while it gets a bit boring.
We did sit up by the pool but it was far to cold to have a swim. Wifi has a good connection.
If you get a taxi from Guraulhous it costs about 124 reals. Although we would not return to Sao Paulo this hotel was an ideal base.

Room tip: High floor
