The Bamboo house is a nice place to relax for a few days with good priced rooms and friendly and helpful staff. We had a group of 4 staying while biking and touring around the area and staff allowed us to store our bikes in the hotel. The hotel is centrally located with many restaurants within a few minutes walk, also West street is only 2--3 minutes walk 👍🏻

We liked the Chinese design of the building, the location was great: walking distance to the heart of town and restaurants. The jet bath was fun and the staff friendly and tried to be helpful.
However the Bamboo House Resort is far from a luxurious hotel. They had a fancy toilet with only the flush option functional and that was hard to operate, some of the room lights did not work, and breakfast included an egg and two pieces of toast, you needed to make a special request for butter and jam.. Also we had to pay extra for coffee.
We were located on the first floor along the side of the building. Unlike other reviewers we did not notice a problem with street noise, there was no elevator and no view (side of another building).
Overall OK however for that price you could probably do better Yangshuo is a tourist town with many hotels to choose from.

We spent a bit more $$$ here than other places in China but this hotel is very nice. The rooms are very clean, spacious and have balconies. However my husband didn't like that the bathroom (including the toilet) had only really a curtain separating it from the rest of the room not a separate room. We also had to step through our shower to get to the toilet.
The included breakfast is either eggs with toast & jam or chinese dumplings. The hotel is in a great location.

Friendly staff and warm feeling. No rooms on 1st floor. They serve food on the first floor and have great banana bread. You can get a real US breakfast. Their internet is pretty good. We have our scholarship lunches there and there is plenty of room.
