Ate here 3 days in a row, food was mostly very good, priced decently, 2 dishes + juice & beer most times were total below CNY 100, except when we had Song Rong mushroom chicken soup which alone was already more than CNY 100.
The 黄焖鸡 chicken was superb, recipe was very good, the amount of spices & wine used was just right, not too much, & the meat itself was very fresh & tasty.
Another favorite was the bitter gourd with mash potatoes 苦瓜土豆泥, a new recipe for me to try at home.
紫苏叶包烤肉Grilled meat slices served with fresh purple perilla leaves was very good too, especially when freshly grilled just before lunch.
Papaya sweet & sour (Yunnan version, different from the Cantonese caramelised version) fish was delicious too, , if one doesn't mind the bones of fresh water fish. The flesh was very fresh & tasty.
