Very nice resort, with all the commodities. The pool was very nice, and the other entertainment areas. I liked the food and especially the service, very professional. One other thing that was worth the money, was the view

They really had it all - the heated indoor salt-water swimming pool, fabulous view of the sea, rooms were clean and comfortable and I even treated myself to a hot oil massage - absolutely worth it. The atmosphere was relaxed, the hotel is all about the space with many spots to sit down for a drink or a meal, whether indoors listening to the piano or in a stunning outdoor terrace. Very short taxi ride from the airport and a 5 minute walk to the centre of Cavtat where you'll find many restaurants to choose from. I will definitely be coming back again.

Room Tip: Choose a room with sea view

Stayed here during April 2015, which seems to be a quiet period for Croatia in general! Lovely hotel with a large indoor saltwater swimming pool. Outdoor swimming pool and bar were closed until May, but that's fine - if you want to swim in the sea, it's really not far away!

The hotel is located on it's own peninsular, with a nice scenic walk around the perimeter. It's up a hill, with quite a few steps - so if you're a fatty like me, you'll be panting by the time you reach the top.

Cavtat itself is just down the hill, which is a small (really small) village with plenty of cafes and restaurants that are open all day for you to grab your meals. The water taxis cost 80 kuna return to Dubrovnik, and it's a great ride - they go frequently. Just make sure you're down there in the morning around 0900.

Free wifi in all the rooms too. Shower was lovely and powerful. Breakfast was to a good standard - not the best I've had, but more than enough choice to keep yourself busy. Generally you eat late in town so you aren't really hungry for breakfast, but there we go.

This is located on the Dubrovnik Riviera and a perfect place for Dubrovnik/Cavtat visit. I read about this Hotel during our Business Travel training that Hotel Croatia was voted number 1 in Former Yugoslavia (Online information), hence we had to chose this Hotel for our stay in Cavtat. And indeed a very impressive Hotel and quiet a luxury! Hotel Croatia has by far the best location in Cavtat, yes there are lots of steps to go down to the main town. You can either walk down or use the buggy service which is free. If you go out to the town, you have plenty of choices in Bars, reasonably priced Restaurants which offer plenty of Fish/Meat grill options. You also have super market where you can buy fresh fruits/veggies etc. To withdraw Kuna’s (local currency) you can use one of the OTP bank ATM’s. Remember, if you are heading to Montenegro or Bosnia, they won’t accept your Croatian Kuna’s so you must have Euros or their respective local currency.

Rooms are quiet nice and spacious. You do have little balcony with every room. You can request for Tea/Coffee making facilities and they will be very glad to provide a kettle in your room (I drink at least 6/7 cups of Green tea so good for me :-)) Also, Love the sense of humour of all staff especially Bell boy. They are extremely helpful and funny. Over all staff was quiet helpful and nice.

I would highly recommend to pay little extra and have sea view facing room. You will love it :-)

This Hotel is slightly expensive but remember you choose this Hotel for stunning setting of Cavtat and amazing views of the Sea.

Indoor and outdoor pool, Saloon, Gym is quiet nice and you have range of Spa treatments. Worth using!!

All in all wonderful time and great stay we had – Would definitely recommend. And not to forget, you can do diving here for just Euro 36.00 .. Unbelievable .. Right!!

Near By Attractions – Ancient walls of Dubrovnik (Must see), The village of Cilipi, Trsteno, Korcula. If you have more time – I suggest to do Mostar (Bosnia)- This is stunning village and old town is MUST! It’s a 3hrs drive each way.

Applause Moment – We choose WI FI and Breakfast package. Quiet happy with the service

Booked in January and stayed in last week of April. Price of the room was very reasonable. Hotel was very quiet upon arrival as it is still low season. Sea view facing room was clean and bright. Hotel was very accomodating to make changes to original booking. Try to book 'half board' just to give yourself the option not to choose s restaurant for dinner. Croatian theme night at the buffet was amazing. Staff is very helpful and cheery. Cannot beat the location. We drove a rental car from Zagreb airport.... But in theory, you don't even need a car. All is within walking distsnce, ghe wonderful town of Cavtat, tons of choices for restaurants, bus station to go to Dubrovnik, plus ghe water taxi. Could not ask for more!

Room Tip: Sea view room to watch amazing sunsets
