We are just finishing a three day stay at Hotel Liburna and am left impressed only with the views of old town from the hotel.
Service: The staff at the front desk is fairly pleasant and helpful, but most everyone else seemed bothered by your presence or any request that you may have. Everything was fairly disjointed.
Housekeeping: Our room was in need of a deep clean. They didn’t take away used glasses or the semi eaten welcome fruit (which was half spoiled, cobwebs in the grapes) after their “cleaning job”. When I looked under the bed there was a tampon from the previous guest. Not great.
Facilities: They are dated. Our room needed new carpeting as it was matted and more than well worn. The shower had very low water pressure, but that is not wildly uncommon. The pool area was nice, but again the service lacking and umbrellas aren’t properly weighted and were constantly blowing down on to guests.
Food: Breakfast was good, and the views amazing.
All up, if you get a good deal on the room, it may be a good place. I will try somewhere else next time.
