The hotel options are not great in Plitvicka but it is such a lovely spot that it hardly matters. If this hotel was anywhere else I wouldn't recommend it, but from what we saw, you won't do much better. The Jezero is fine - a bit outdated but our room was huge, clean and comfy. The prices are ridiculous but you probably won't find better value anywhere else.
Just don't eat at the restaurant. Dreadful! This was by far the worst food of our trip. I had pasta that tasted like it was out of a can (a sin given its proximity to Italy).
Our only other complaint was very loud disco music coming from the bar, presumably for one of the tour groups.
Be sure to get up early to see the waterfalls as it gets very crowded once all the tour buses arrive!More
