This was one of our favorite stops during our 2 weeks on the Adriatic Coast. The hotel itself is very comfortable, small enough to be cozy, very well staffed and professionally managed. Our room had only a partial view of the harbor but we would certainly choose it again. A huge and very well planned bathroom, lovely king bed and plenty of closet and drawer space.
As others have noted, the breakfast is excellent, served in the "living and dining area" on the second floor. We sat in the living area each evening after touring and dinner and it was very comfortable and welcoming. A real plus for the hotel.
Rovinj itself was a gem. We spent time at the market, just 5 minutes from the hotel, took a boat ride to the "fiord" (past the nude beaches, of course) and had wonderful and colorful dinners each night in one or another of the alleys and courtyards in the town.
The hotel seems intent on marketing itself as a museum. Not at all a museum. Rather a very well restored and charming small hotel. No pretensions needed.More
