Have just returned from a week at this hotel. I have been to Rovinj several times before but stayed in apartments.

The hotel was lovely. The location was fantastic being only a 5-10 minute walk into town. The views from the pool towards the old town of Rovinj were outstanding.

We stayed half board and could not fault the food (or the service) at all.

I would definately stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Rovinj.

The hotel has the most beautiful of the old city from the sea view rooms!!! Our "Sea View Suite" consisted of a small entry hall with a bathroom connecting 2 small bedrooms one bedroom was TINY & the other was just slightly bigger. The air conditioning was minimal and the hotel was not dirty, but wasn't really clean either. The rooms were decorated (??) in blue & yellow while not ugly, there was absolutely no charm to them either. The buffet breakfast was good & there were many choices & the pool area was nice & the 2 nights we were there, they had entertainment each night~one night a jazzy band that were quite good & the next night a childrens orchestra & chorus that were also good. The service wasn't great~if you asked for something, they did try to accommodate your request, but the people working there in general just weren't that pleasant. The view from the room was FABULOUS & it was maybe a 20 minute walk to the old town. It was not cheap and I think for the money, there is probably a better place to stay. It wasn't BAD, but other than the pool, the walking convience & the view, it wasnt great either. There is no internet access in the rooms, but there is (for a fee) in the (unair conditioned) lobby

We have just returned from Rovinji after staying for a week 27th Jul - 3rd Aug with Balkan holidays, Rovinji itself is really beautiful and we had a fantastic view of the town whilst having breakfast. The hotel looks a little shabby from the back but is really nice inside and very clean and modern. I would recommend that you pre-book a sea view, although these are limited. Breakfast was really nice, especially the chocolate croissants! We were on B&B basis but did eat at the hotel the 1st night and found the buffet really nice. Went to visit Venice for the day for around £90+ for 2 of us to go on the boat, would highly recommend. Just don't go the day after a storm, on the way there I thought the boat was going to tip over the waves were that strong!! Loads of people were sea sick too. But other than that a fantastic day. Went around without the guide so we had around 5 hours to ourselves which was great. Would recommend that when you get outside the hotel Park where the boats are turn left and if you walk on quite a way you should be able to find some quieter secluded spots to relax right by the sea - right away from screaming kids jumping in the pool and people smoking! Definately 1 of the best hotels in Rovinji location wise and for view of the town. Should take you 20 mins+ to walk into Rovinji itself. Recommend going to the church and climbing up the tower in the old town to take photos of the view, just don't do it if your scared of heights, the wooden steps climbing up are pretty narrow! Beautiful views though! Best pizza in town is also Sergio in the old town - definately a must!

my husband and I stayed at the hotel park ,rovinj at the end of july/beginning of august for 1 week.
Theweather wasnt as good as expected with cloud and thunderstorms for 1 1/2 days but it was warm and on the sunny days hot. The hotel is in a fabulous location with a 10 minute easy stroll into the town with cafesetc all the way in one direction and a national park with paths for walking and cycling with coves and woodland in the other. The hotel is spotless with good facilities. Although we are not pool people it was a nice area that always seemed to have plenty of sunbeds. The food was excellent although my husband thought the breakfast was limited but to be honest i dont know what else he could of had! staff were immaculate and very helpful and friendly. Evening entertainment seemd limited although to be honest we preferred a walk into the town along the harbour where bars etc were pleasant with plenty going on but not frantic or rowdy. The hotel did have a varied daytime programme with afloral walk and a free boat ride to red island aswell as the usual bowls, water polo etc.but never noisy.
The town was magic very venetian and full of winding streets with the sea all around. lazy days could be spent just watching loads of boats and yatchs! try the sardines at the maestral? restaurant/bar along from the hotel, fabulous sitting by the edge of the harbour.
All in all a great holiday cant wait to go back, one of the nicest places we have been

Stayed here for a week and just loved it. I agree with most of the reviews that the location can't be beat. A quick stroll into town one way and the woods in the opposite direction makes it special. Can't be bothered to walk? Then the bar on the promedade below the hotel is great (try the medenica for a night cap) Rooms are quite small but with a sea view that can be forgiven. Food is 3 star quality and some nights vegetarians might struggle for choice. Service is great and no problems getting a sun bed. Am looking forward to returning - the sooner the better.
