We wanted a good thin crispy pizza and was directed here by a local. We greeted the waiter and asked how he was...his response was how incredibly tired he was and that he had been working there for 40 + years. Nonetheless, he was efficient and brought out some fried fish that’s called Gavuni, which is very small and incredible tasty if they are cooked right. The ones that were delivered to us were flimsy and fishy tasting...very strong fishy tasting. It was almost like the oil was not hot enough when they were fried. We sent them back never to see them again. Then the pizza came out and it was flimsy with cheese just running off of it. We asked if it be cooked more to perhaps make it crispier, and it appeared to be cooked this time on a hot plate as it looked like a burnt pancake on the bottom once it reached us. It wasn’t bad...just not good. I’ll have to say pass on this one if you’re looking for thin and crispy pizza. Sorry Cicibela.

Came across this restaurant as it was close to our apartment, it doesn’t look much from the outside but walk down the alley and there is a lovely courtyard leading into the beautiful restaurant. Unlike most of the restaurants in the old town there is plenty of indoor seating, which was great on a wet and windy evening.
The owner was extremely friendly and welcoming, we ordered the sea bass to share and he bought it out for us to see how fresh it was before cooking. And recommended a local side dish that would accompany the fish well. The chef then cooked it within view. The fish was cooked perfectly and you could tell how fresh it was. The restaurant owner was happy to help and came over to help us debone the fish. The prices were slightly lower than in the old town.
By far the best meal I’ve had in a long time, would recommend to anyone visiting Trogir.

This restaurant does not look much from the outside, but when inside a beutiful backyard reveals a calm an friendly restaurant. This is not Michelin, but compared to the other places here in Trogir it is a friendly releif from the tourist hunt. Enjoy local food and hospitality.
