This place isn't the most posh or luxorious restaurant you can visit, however it is a total hit with the locals. We ordered the bolon, tigrillo, humitas, pan de yuca and empanadas de trigo and loved them all. It's mostly fried food, not the most healthy or light option but you're on vacation so live a little. It has delivery so that might be best if you look into that as an option.

Yes the weight is long but you get to talk about your stay in Ecuador and enjoy the great meal, the environment, and say goodbye to your loved ones before heading to the airport.

I won't write an elaborated review... just to say that if you want to taste plantain in a new dimension you have to go to this place. Everything is fresh. Maybe the only downside is that if you go in peak hours (for example Sunday morning) you will have to wait about 20 minutes on the queue to be attended.
