Amazing experience of the our ship to the areas where we snorkelled with the sharks and the EELS. Then there was a live barbeque where we has most sweetest pineapple in the world and the Fish with Hinano Tahitian beer

What a wonderful way to explore this island and gain a perspective of its history and what life is like for the locals. Great scenery, interesting dialogue and very helpful tour guide. Well worth the half day.

After a perfect week in Moorea, our hotel arranged for bus service back to the airport through Moorea Explorer. The bus was at the hotel on time. For some reason, our name appeared on the hotel list but not the bus driver's list. The driver refused to let us board, and called his office manager---then handed me the phone. The hotel showed him that I was indeed on the list. Despite a near empty bus, we were not allowed to board. Thank god for the presence of an alternative carrier, or we would have missed our flight!
The Moorea Explorer bus driver was RUDE! Our "Albert's" bus driver was wonderful, and took us to the airport. And he was less expensive than Moorea Explorer.

Olivia at Moorea explorer in the Moorea airport was very helpful and knowledgeable about all the activities and details we were interested in. She went out of her way to recommend and ensure us of the best activity guides during our honeymoon trip. My wife and I were very pleased with the choice she recommended for ATV which was the safest and most in depth tour around the Island of Moorea. Olivia is an asset to Moorea explorer and is very friendly and welcoming. She even greeted us and asked us about our experience when we departed from Moorea airport, she is without a doubt a great representative!

We were initially supposed to take the morning tour, but ended up being bumped to the afternoon; which was annoying. However, the weather turned out to be better in the afternoon-so we were lucky. This tour packed a lot into 3-4 hours. After we picked up other passenger from the hotels, we went up the steep climb to Magic Mountain. It is kind of a hairy ride, but the views are well worth it! We also visited the juice factory where the island fruit is brought for processing. We were able to taste some of their alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase-of course!). We then took a drive through the pineapple plantations and stopped for some information on how they grow pineapples. On the way back we stopped at a Polynesian temple for a few minutes- the mosquitoes were vicious! I would suggest that you have mosquito repellent on before you go on the tour! Next we stopped at the agricultural school, which is run by local students. We tasted some of their homemade jams and had some of the most delicious homemade vanilla ice cream! The students make it there. We stopped for another photo op and then headed back. Ron was our guide and did a great job considering that we were the only English speaking passengers, so he had to keep switching languages for us. It was definitely worth the 40$/person.
