This is a small food stand close to the ocean with local Honduran specialities! We loved the ham and cheese pastelitos and the beef and advocado baleadas! The service was quick and kind. We would go here between dives for a quick bite to eat!

My husband and I spent the day at Bananarama & walked one block to Cindy's Place. I read on Trip Advisor that the lobster baleada was the thing to order, so we did. We saw someone else's order come out first so we wisely ordered one to share. A baleada is a thick flour tortilla filled with beans, rice, cheese & (in our case) lobster. My husband had a couple of local beers that he enjoyed & I had a delicious limonade that was made from key limes. During lunch we were entertained by a parrot that walked around & interacted with one of the staff. The parrot seemed very fond of Angel. It was a fun way to enjoy some local flavor.

Cindy's was our pre-dive go-to for lunch! The chicken tacos, the lobster tacos, the burritos and the watermelon smoothies are DELICIOUS! A lot of food, (the taco plate was too much for me) all prepared fresh, and the plantains are the best on the island. You need to remember that fresh food is not fast food, but well worth the wait! The staff is super nice and the prices are so reasonable.
Cindy's is right next to Coconut Tree Divers.

You can get a huge fresh made taco type (balenda sp?) plate for just $2. It tasted good and the hot sauces were good. But it might have been the place that made us sick. Could have been lettuce washed in water? Not sure but it was this place or another that did us in. So not sure how to rate it.
