Tea....orange......tea

Tea garden plantation resort with lots of accommodation option like tree house, cottage, rooms. Resort is located right in tea plantation. Excellent staffing and service. Really home a way from. Morning trekking and off road ride was mind blowing. Breath-taking view of sun set and sun rise from watch tower. Food was excellent. Since we were in short holiday we couldn’t enjoy entire resort. Hopefully back soon.

Since my last visit things have got worse. The management cannot decide if the hotel is an up market resort or a cheap honeymoon lodge. Food is still cold and not very good. The wonderful old tree houses are showing their age and have been joined by cheap metallic structures on stilts not 2 meters away from the existing tree houses - so much for privacy. Add to this surly Nepalese (cheap workers) staff and a total lack of onsite management. The tree houses are priced correctly for a top end resort but this is far from top end. Give it a miss - there must be better!

Room tip: Don't bother unless you want a tree house then only take 104!

We have stayed for three nights at dream catcher resort. Resort is in the middle of tea and orange plantation and they have different types of accommodation available in resort like rooms, family room, cottage, tree house etc. main attraction of resort is spa, hanging bridge, plantation walk, watch tower, off road ride, camp fire etc.. food was good. Staffs were very helpful. Dream catcher is the place for who want to be with nature and within nature. Morning you can go stroll in the tea and orange garden . Will back in summer or some weekend. Team dream catcher thanks for making our stay memorable.

Dream catcher resort is a mini munnar. This resort is very close to nature . lots of the things you can do at resort. Dream experience in tree house. Guided plantation walk and  off road ride in polaris jeep was amazing. Excellent cuisine and brilliant staffs. Since it was not orange season we couldn’t see the same. Thanks crew dream catcher for unforgettable experience.

Dream Catcher Resort right in tea and orange planation. After discussing with manager could understand that it’s almost 22 acr land of tea and orange planation. View from room balcony is amazing. Right place to see sun rise. Early morning woke up and saw the sun rise and later 40 minutes plantation walk and 30 minutes off road ride in there polaris jeep. What else want to be a day fruitful. Rooms are clean, food is nice, camp fire was good. Staffs are amazing . I strongly recommend this resort for all. Simply we can call Dream Catcger Resort is “mini munnar”. Yes as they says “More than  a resort It’s a Destination”.

Hotel is far away from the city centre.

Do not follow google maps as it may take you to the routes which has no proper roads.
Hotel quite calm n has a good atmosphere but limited food options.
Good view from the hotel.
Activities like camp fire, BBQ were mentioned but not available as renovation was going on.
We stayed in deluxe room.
Can’t come late in evening as fog is problem so advisable to be latest by 7:00 pm depending on weather.
