Came here as a part of an organized tour, the temple itself (and the surrondings) are tacky and cheap even, but the view makes up for it. Not sure if you should go there only to see it, the surroundings are busy and traffic is crazy.

This is an beutiful attraction, The area is large , Walking around inside temple area and outside down the stairs to market shops. The view from main temple area when you walk up the stairs you oversee Burma Laos Thailand -Is tremendouse beautiful

We came here to view the landscape of the northeast territorial border of Thailand, across the bridge, the river is Burmese. You could find the traffic there is busy. And there are good policy for locals to trade and transport between the area around.

We have been at Doi Wao as part of a booked tour. Not much too see here, not worth to spend much effort/money to come here. It's a buddist temple with some hindu parts (Elephant God) and a kitschy scorpion statue
