check in on 16/12 very fast and staff friendly we stay for 2d1n . view in hotel very goood . we go sailor bar enjoy drink and live band . we enjoy our drink and bar very happening . thank you so much for all the staff and very very special thanks for Miss Salyna cause you are very extrovert and the management should feel lucky to have a staff like Miss Salyna youre very brilliant . thank you so much we will come again ..

The worst experience of my life. Cant imagine a hotel being this bad. Avoid at all costs. Dirty rotting cigarette smelling rooms, nonchalant staff..,I wore slippers to the shower. Full of fungus. That bad. In PD go for an air bnb. Did not sleep a wink. Couldn’t wait for the morning to check out.

This is the 2nd time we came to Admiral Cove. The first time was back in 2013. Since then it has drastically change.

Admiral Cove is a grand old beautiful hotel with one of the best locations in Malaysia, with its own Marina within a cove. We are always mesmerized by its ambiance.

To be fair to Avillion, we came and stay at a private unit. And the 3 of us had buffet breakfast at Avillion and had dinner at its Sailor's Drink Shop. The buffet breakfast is the same standard as Hotel Seri Malaysia. And sadly there are lots of small flies (pari pari) especially around the fruits. The Sailor's Drink Shop was wonderful. Chot and Salyna have been a wonderful hosts and making us want to spend and spend more there. The live band is also good with awesome performers Maya, Maria and Kecik.

Avillion Staff
Some still have great smiles and beautiful attitude, especially the Duty Manager Mr Magesh, Mr Fazmirul and a friendly Chinese Kakak Miss Wong who is in charge of the activity area. The 2 Malay staffs by the pool were also very polite and nice.

Polluted and Dirty
It is not the hotel. It is the swimming pool area. It is polluted and made dirty by its visitors who cannot abide to the swimming pool rules. It seems that hotels world wide have been relaxed and being open for people wearing proper swimming wear and Muslimah swimming wear. Some people have been taking advantage by the relax rules. We saw parents bringing their children for buffet breakfast in their sleeping attires and jump straight in and swim in the pool after breakfast. Parents too are seen wearing their shirts, tracks or trousers and muslim ladies wearing their daily wears and hijabs to swim in the pool.

People are angry if others wear shoes in their home because not following their rules, which in turn bringing in dirt and germs in to their home and life. But why are the same people not following the rules of others who are protecting the safety and cleanliness of the water in the swimming pool. There are much dangerous germs which can pollute the pool water as it is not an open sea or flowing river water.

To make it worse, such people is seen criticizing people who wear proper swim wear for swimming.

Anyway, overall the Avillion Admiral Cove is a beautiful hotel, we just hope it can stay and be beautiful forever.
