lovely place, great stuff and good value for the money.

Leonard the man in charge was from the day we were calling him up for a free room until we took the ferry back, so polite and helpfull that was outstanding. He told us which ferry to take, so we didnt have to go through all the madness at Mersing jetty and avoid the expensiv taxi boat. He is so good to talk to and always has time for your requests.

The rest of the stuff was really welcoming and attentiv.

The room as basic but contained all what we needed. Fan, bad, shower, toilet and enough space for our stuff plus a good seaview.

Even they are just having a little cafe we didnt miss out. Coffee, tea, coke, water and so on.... We got breakfast everyday. No menu as u can get every day different local food or american breakfast. We always went for the local breakfast. So yummy. For dinner we went eather to one of the Restaurants in the village or enjoyed the sea food bbq + grilled chicken at simukut hill view. So many different fish and such a good taste. If you are into fishing you even can bbq your catch of the day.

The sourroundings are nice too. Climbing, hiking, snorkeling, sun bathing. If you are patient you get to see some animals. Flying fox, monkeys, butterflys, fireflys, little creatures in the jungle and squirls and others. More beaches are in walking distance. We were pretty much on our own on the beaches. The hike up to the dragon horns is right at your door step, the waterfall is easily reached by walking 2km. And u can explore further the jungle. If you need some groceries there are 2 little shops in the village 10 min max.

What else...its not for people which looking for a touristic Area. Its calm and relaxing and activ if you choose to. Not a big range of restaurants or bars. But enough to fill ur tummy and thirst. Taxi boats are quite expensive like all around the island. But the place will keep you busy up to 5 day i reckon.

Any time i would come back.

Thanks once again to the whole simukut hill view team.

I had a great experience here. The owner is very very accommodating. Me and my then boyfriend had an amazing time here. It is located in the fishing village part of Tioman islands. There is not so many tourists when we went here. It feels like we are on a private resort. It is very lowkey but very nice place to have a rejuvenating getaway. It is at the foot of the trail to the Dragon's tooth. The mini villas are nice even though there is no warm water. I will definitely come back here.

Room Tip: Our view is the Sea. It is all situated at the edge, so you'll see the beach first thing in the morning.

Mukut is a really quiet and peaceful small village. Even though it's Ramadan while we stayed, so hard to find a restaurant to have a meal. Cause everyone in the small village had to stop eating until the night time. But the owner of the resort and the locals were so kind to help us find anything we need.
The room was good enough for us except the toilet and bathroom, which is clean but too rough and simple. It will be perfect if the owner of the resort make the bathroom better. The view of the beach is beyond expectation. A wonderful place for you to go snorkeling. But it's pity there's no scuba center in the village, or you have to spent another 100rm per person on the water taxi to go to Genting for diving.
Except for water activities, you can go into the mountains for waterfall or to explore for different areas. Just like we did to spent the afternoon everyday.
If you love the nature and country life, this is a wonderful resort for you to find out. But if you can't stand too simple room or don't want to be awake by chickens' noise. Then you'd better not to think about the one. For me? I'm sure I'd love to stay this one again !
