Very nice place with green nature surrounding. My kids love to see the wild life animals well maintain by the resort management. The beach is just very closed i.e 50 m away from the resort and all types of activities are conducted such as games, speed boat, banana boat, tour to Islands, alot more.
The order food from the resort so tasty and the staffs are so friendly.
Hope to come again.

we visited Vikri twice now and will recommend it to friends!
In 2013, we came almost by coincidence after realizing we bought plane tickets to get to the Perenthian Islands in the middle of the monsoon season...oh well...live and learn, right?
We landed at Vikri after browsing the web at the beginning of our 2 week trip of Malaysia. Watching our budget, we booked the cheaper, standard room, but decided to upgrade after we were shown the family room only a few $ more- it was well worth it. The family room is more spacious ( sleeps 3), bathroom more to US/ Western Europe standards, it has a nice verandah with a bench...AND IT IS CLOSER TO THE BEACH!
After seeing the beach, I couldn't figure out why we are there almost alone???! Yes, there is a road between the resort and the beach ( can be a bit noisy if the motorbikers decide to show off), but all in all, it is very nice and you can pick your own tree with branches reaching down almost to the beach at places providing for shade ( and climbing if you are so inclined:-). I preferred it to the places in Nipah Bay which is interesting and cozy in a hippy/ lived in by locals kind of way. And if you want, rent a scooter (I don' t recommend the bikes unless you are really strong in your legs as the bikes have seen their better days) and drive a few minutes to the Turtle Beach or Coral Bay with the Buddhist Temple / Hippy Trippy " meditation" area...or anywhere in between to find your own spot. Also a short kayak trip from Nipah Bay to the Corral Island (20 MYR/ hr) is worth it. Watch out for Vervet monkeys anywhere with trees and food...and the Lady of the House is a really good cook!
Downside? The resort is very clean and priding in it but the Island, same as in a lot of similar places in the world has a recycling/ trash disposal/ clean up problem....
Oh yeah...haven' t found a decent espresso anywhere after the only actual "Cafe" in the town of Pangkor closed down:-(....our recent vacation in Pangkor refresher was 2nd week of Jan 2016. Good luck and Enjoy the treatment of the family running the resort!

Room Tip: Family room close tonthe water

Vikri beach resort is located right next of a very quiet beach. On the beach there are possibilities to rent watersports. The chalets are okay but a bit old. The staff was very vriendly and helpfull. For the price they ask it is definitely a good place to go.

I found the staff here to be really friendly, but the place was a little run down.

Good Points:
Location...right opposite the beach.
Really friendly staff.
Bar with a pool table on the site.
Garden is nice with the jungle right behind (saw some wild boar:)

Not so good:
The rooms are a little run down (small problems like the air con remote not working, air con unit was not always working etc).
Breakfast was not good...cold fried eggs and cold roti :(

Room Tip: Probably best to check your air-con unit and remote works properly.

The room had old furnitures with a bed mattress should be change & a classic TV which dont work.

But location if wonderful which is walking distance to the beach & winds from the seas in the morning. That is the saving grace from this place.

Need to walk out for food as we were there on weekday and no food available at the premises. At least, the taxi does come over fast upon request from the resort.
