The crew at Seaventures have been really friendly, patient and just awesome all around, even before the trip has begun! Our group of 11, have been in contact with their booking and reservations manager for more than 6 months before our trip, and they have accommodated to all our questions and requests without fail.
During our trip, we were had a very beautiful and exotic experience, thanks to the wonderful crew and resort manager - Ramesh. The dive team, headed by Pete was exceptionally professional - helping us in getting our equipment set up, ensuring safety of the divers and also, catering to all our individual equipment preferences (sidemount, cameras, twin sets, etc.).
As for the diving, the dives at Sipadan Island itself was nothing short of fantastic, healthy reefs, amazing schools of fishes and wonderful marine life all around. The other dive sites around Mabul and Kapalai were pretty cool with all the macro life around too. The Seaventures house reef was exceptionally fun, starting at around 16m in depth, you can expect to find amazing macro life and even schools of bumphead parrotfishes too! Kudos to our amazing dive guides, Mitchell and Lorence, for the extremely fun times above and underwater.
The rooms on the rig itself is nothing fancy, but it is clean, comfortable and is definitely more than what most divers can ask for. Facilities on the rig are rather impressive, with a nice sun deck...The crew at Seaventures have been really friendly, patient and just awesome all around, even before the trip has begun! We had the pleasure of having an awesome BBQ dinner and live band performance on our last night on the rig. It was the perfect way to end the trip.
Lastly, I'd like to extend my thanks and gratitude to Suzette, the GM of Seaventures Dive Rig. I'd left some dive equipment back on the rig when we left. She actually brought it back to Singapore with her to return it, the next time she was in the country. It is hard to express how much this means to me, but it definitely goes to show the dedication and effort the team at Seaventures has in making it all about the customer.
Thank you Seaventures for the really amazing experience. We'll definitely be back!More
