A very flexible management team. We were allowed to chech in as early as 9am and the hotel provide pickup and drop off at airport. It located in a very convenient location as one may easily find their way to a bus stop to hop on bus to town. Should travel by car/ rent a car it has no problem in parking and is not far to the Memorial Park,Sepilok to view birds, orangutan,sunbears and proboscis monkey which is beat to visit in the morning. Local eateries are walking distance.

Had a last minute booking & my gamble paid off handsomely. The hotel was easy to find, at a fairly convenient location in Sandakan. The room was roomy & clean, thus feeling value for money when I stepped into the room. The front desk staff very pleasant & helpful, he relocated his car to allow me to park my car in front of the hotel when it was full. I hav no hesitation to recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Sandakan.

This is my 2nd visit to the hotel. I choose it because Its near the airport, about 10 minutes drive away. Free and easy parking. There are few shops and restaurant nearby but no convenience shop around. For tourist better get hotel at the city centre as this one is bit far away from the city. They asked for deposit of RM50, refundable during checkout. The hotel room size is quite comfortable, value for the money. There is no lift, only stairs available. During my first visit, the WiFi was excellent, but this time its just okay.
I'd recommend this hotel if you're on a short visit to Sandakan. I had a meeting in Sandakan for a few days and this hotel was one of the nearest to my workplace there.
Cons:
- The room / restroom and linen looked old and worn out. If you're a Four Seasons type of guest, this hotel is not a good choice.
- The shower was broken. It was functioning well but the handle was really broken.
Pros:
- The friendliest and most attentive staffs. 10/10 for customer service. Thumbs up!
- Location. It took us only 7 minutes to reach the airport from this hotel.
- Free airport shuttle service.
- Eateries, groceries are very near.
- The TV and cable worked well.
- Free Wifi.
Got a taxi to the hotel from Sepilok, checked us in and took full payment and a key deposit before telling us there was no wifi. We said we needed wifi to organise our trip and they said "the technician will come later" and said they didn't know exactly when. When I requested our money back they told me "the technician is coming now", even so we had no guarantee he could solve the problem so we went elsewhere. Fortunately they gave us our money back but the staff were very hesitant.
