Like a review below we got turned away. We whatsapped them prior to our arrival by a few days and it was read before we arrived however no reply. When we enquired about a tent they didn't know if they were full or not but told us to try somewhere else. They asked us if we'd booked but seemed oblivious when we said we'd messaged them. Poor customer service but then they had lots of guests so I imagine they don't care about individuals.

However whilst looking around the site the tents are tiny small 2 man tents so not much room for luggage and also really closely packed so was a blessing in disguise.

This place is great, I had much fun here and found many friends. Staff are very friendly, relaxed and never demanding for money. Volleyball net is there I'm beach, dart board in camp, kitchen and cold drinks.
Bad things: electricity works only 7:30pm to midnight.water smells like sulphur ( but doesn't look and feel bad on skin and hair), so many mosquits here which is biggest problem.

Me and my husband have been in Malaysia for more than 5 years now, and this was our the very first camping experience in Malaysia. LongSha is located near the nicest beach in the island, which you could see coral in about 30 m away from the shore. Power supply is limited just like other chalets/guest houses in the island, but it's pretty tidy and the kitchen is decent. No hot shower, but hot shower may not necessary after a day long sunbath. It's camping site, so can't help mosquito biting so better have repellent with you when coming. Overall, it was pleasant stay in Kapas island, and fun experience at the camping site.

Room Tip: Longsha, camping site, Kapas Island

my friend and l have an awesome experience at Longsha Campsite. the Tent is RM15 per person per night and it is very comfort.
they have a very good facilities especially the kitchen. you can play beach ball there and the snorkelling area is just in front of the beach.
they have share bathroom. the bathrooms are seperated for male and female but it is a open bath area.
they provide a lot of other service such as rent for fire ball , snorkel set and life jacket, mineral water with cheap price.
i like the hammock.

Room Tip: tent or dorm, choose as you want
