We stayed as a family. The rooms are clean and very basic. The beach was clean. Snorkelling was organised with a local boat.
The food was ok.

The place is popular and rooms are usually full. However, the reception/reservation can sometimes be disinterested and unhelpful.

We stayed nearby and came here for dinner twice and lunch once during our stay. Food was good - we had a variety of curries and then bbq fish/chicken satay - everything we ordered was good. Prices are good value. Very nice sitting on the beachfront under the stars.

We stayed with 3 friends for 2 nights in abdul chalet and enjoyed it very much. The staff is extraordinary friendly and helpful. The food in the chalet restaurant is amazing - not 1 dish ever disappointed! The location and the wonderful staff at abdul chalet makes the stay in Perhentian island an unforgettable experience.

Everything is good: breakfast, lunch, dinner. They offer daily BBQ in the evening of fresh fish. Also have free WiFi.
