Awesome

Came here with friends to get our PADI. Became family in a few hours! Super friendly and professional instructors and staff. Room was tidy and clean. Mosquito nets provided but be nice if you bring along bug/mosquito spray. Expect electricity cut off from 10am to 6pm. Almost standard around Perhentian Kecil. We didn’t mind it cause most of the time we were out at the dive centre and out diving. Do come here to get your PADI or even just to chill. Thank you so much Jeng, Aslam, Nicole, Ajiq, Suzy for the superb treatment and experience! Wish I knew these guys sooner. Definitely will only come back here when in Perhentian! Thank you. Love you guys!

Very nice, basic and cheap

We stayed at matahari chalets for 5 nights and had a very nice time. There are different options to stay in:

- dorm 50 rm per night per person
- longhouse 90 rm per night 2pp
Own bathroom and fan
- bungalow 110 rm per night 2pp
Own bathroom and fan
- Chalet 120 rm per night 2pp
Own bathroom and fan
- room with aircon 170rm per night 2pp
Own bathroom

We stayed at the longhouse so we do not exactly know what the other options look like. Breakfast is included in this one and it's a very good one with multiple options. Comes with coffee, juice and fruit plate.

This accommodation corporate with matahari divers and angel divers but be aware that it's different management so contact them separately.

I did my advanced open water with matahari divers for around 190 Euro. That's the cheapest I found and I'm traveling for a long time so... Fun dive is 15 euro for 1.

Good value for money

In my opinion this is the best value for money on long beach (tried several places) if you take a longhouse room. It's clean, has a mosquito net, allows for privacy, there is space to put your stuff. Breakfast is included (supposed to start at 7:30 but honestly do not hope to get it before 8).
Very beautiful and quiet garden.
As a solo traveller it really was a treat, but if you're 2 people then it is definitely worth it.

Aircond not working. Clogged toilet.

Understandable due to its cheap price we shouldn’t expect much from thefacility. No electricity from 930am-630pm. Breakfast provided. I can say the cheapest option on Long Beach if you want a complete package for accommodation and fun dives trip. But still not an excuse for poorly maintained room. Super humid in the room. Set the temperature at 16 but still temperature as if no air conditioner was on. Clogged toilet. Basically feet soaked in dirty water when you tried to take your bath. Quite sad to be honest.

Chalet staying

Stayed for 4nights .. simple chalet .. no electricity from 9.30am to 6.30pm daily due to limited generators provided.. Breakfast was ok with many choices .. u get what u paid for :-) the staffs were friendly
