Wonderful location if you’re a beach lover. The resort is located just right next to the beach. You can enjoy your dinner while listening to the therapeutic sound of waves. If you’re a diver, it’s even better. Shore dive/ house reef was just next to the dive centre (Leisure Scuba). Less than a min walk and you’re ready to dive in. Foods here are great too, buffet style and contains no pork/ lard.
I like the location of this resort which is just beside two nice bays, one smaller one for snorkeling practice. The dishes served were of different varieties and BBQ dinner every alternate day. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Snorkeling guides takes care of inexperienced snorkelers during the boat trips. Rooms are basic with air-cond, hot-shower and toilet. Some rooms have a small patio. I have been visiting here every year for the past four years. You will love the friendly squirrels that come visit the restaurant during meal times.
Overall OK for me and my guests, just the resort WiFi cannot be use.. There is a nice view at the back of hotel and you can see lots of star at night.. From the resaurant, You can choose to sit outdoor and there is a great view..Staff is good and food is great too
I’ve brought my company staffs here for 3days 2 nights family day. Location is very good but rooms were dirty. No ventilation in d toilet n bathroom n there is a big spider in d bathroom too :o They really need to improve their house keeping. Blanket, bedsheets all looks old n dirty. When I asked them to sweep d floor again, they asked me WHY?? I told them every where in d room is dirty but d answer is nobody on duty!?. So, I just borrowed a broom n sweep it myself :(
Foods provided quite reasonable. A small shop selling things with reasonable price, I think d cheapest around that beach.
Overall my staffs were happy staying there due to d nice beach n snorkeling activities.
Will definitely come back to Redang island but not staying in this resort.
First I’m an hotelier or several places in Malaysia and I never felt so insulted by a so rude staff.
We were planning to celebrate an event this evening at their restaurant and as I wanted to have a look first, we went there and get assaulted by an horrible lady, screaming on us in Bahasa that our clothes are wet which was absolutely not true, just some sand on our feet as we walked on the beach to reach this restaurant.
Her so so poor is a total turn off and a disgrace to anyone working in hospitality industry.
She had refused to give her name when I did asked her, she was even more rude and showed some racism attitude which is intolerable.
For info she is Malaysian Chinese, with a quite fair complexion, with some acnea spots on her face.
Not to forgot that she was eating some kind of greasy creamy cake when with us with one more negative point to her terrible attitude and behaviour.
Thank you to ruin the moment to this nasty and so horrible lady.
We will spend money some money and definitely as well strongly do not recommend this place to anyone, drama just for a bit of send when you are in Redang, such a joke and shame you are young lady!
