Casa Perleta is a gem. It's beautifully decorated and cozy, and everyone on staff is so cheerful and helpful. The rooftop terrace is particularly lovely, especially when it's hot outside, and the breakfasts up there are phenomenal! They made our stay in Chefchaouen magical.

In a quiet corner of the Chefchaouen medina we spent two nights at this very friendly riad. The room was spacious and thankfully air-conditioned. It was decorated with textiles from the area. Staying in the medina means you have to put up with some cleanliness issues but this riad was spotless. My only complaint was that they should have provided more soap and some shampoo. But other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

From our initial inquiry, it was clear that the staff at the Casa was well organized and welcoming. We exchanged several emails with Ibtisamme who patiently answered all of our questions and turned out to be a charming hostess when we finally met. The hotel itself is wonderful - well appointed rooms with A/C and lots of character. The breakfasts on the upstairs patio were memorable with wonderful local cheese and bread along with fresh fruit, yogurt and delicious coffee and juice. Highly recommended!

We stayed as a family in July. The staff was not real friendly. You didn't feel real welcome. We arrived with bags and a child and they immediately make you complete your passport paperwork instead of letting you drop your bags in your room and come down.
Rooms are musty. Tiny bar of soap provided, no bath mats. Breakfast breads not fresh and the area for breakfast small for the large number of people staying there.
Credit cards not accepted.

We stayed at Casa Perleta while in Chefchaouen. This was a very nice stay and a good value. The staff was helpful and friendly. We received excellent dining recommendations for our time there. Breakfast on the terrace was wonderful, with a spectacular view of the city. The location within Chefchaouen was ideal; everywhere we wanted to go was walkable. The rooms/accommodation were charming, although not as nice as some of the other places we stayed in Marrakesh or Fes.
