The grounds of the hotel are lush and filled with the sound of water cascading down in streams and fountains and waterfalls -you truly feel like you are in the jungle! Our two villas were unbelievable with amazing outdoor hot tubs built right into the natural rock and huge outdoor showers with the water cascading out of the rocks. There were large outdoor day beds covered in blankets and towels for siestas after a day of hiking up the mountains of Machu Picchu. We also had a lower terrace with a table and chairs for outdoor dining. The rooms were very spacious and luxurious with huge bathrooms with a massive free standing tub and a large shower. All the products are all natural and organic. We even had our own butler, Armando, who was wonderful.
The grounds were teeming with hundreds of species of birds and orchids and ferns and the most incredible flowers. There were many outdoor excursions offered by the hotel. We did a nature walk and a bird watching walk. Both were very interesting. We even saw the rare Peruvian cock of the rock which is a bright red colour.
The restaurant is excellent and we loved all our meals.
The Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo hotel is the best place to stay if you are planning a visit to Machu Picchu.

We have purchased one of their package for 4 days and could not be happier. The place is beautiful, very convenient location. The stuff was friendly and very helpful. Big thumbs up for our private guides Nay, Roland and Miquel. Very well organized excursions. Excellent food and service. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

Breathtaking hideaway, with magnificent flora, menu in restaurant perfect and all staff were most welcoming and extremely helpful. Loved the open wood fire on return to our room after many hour of hiking around and exploring Machu Picchu. Even transported our luggage to the railway station for our homeward bound trip.

Room Tip: Lots of steps to climb but this little gem is well worth the effort!

Inka Terra Pueblo is a very upscale unique hotel adjacent to the train station and close to the buses to Machu Pichu. It was very satisfactory when I stayed there 13 years ago but is now a world class resort offering a very unique experience,
