This is a very basic hotel. Rooms are on the small side which seemed to be the case in Peru.

No A/C (We did not need it in the beginning of May - not sure how the weather would be during their summer though).

The view from the room was straight into a construction site, which was very noisy during the day and we had to have our curtains closed the entire time. This did not impair our stay as we were only there to sleep after Machu Pichu visit, but I would not want to stay there for another day or two.

The toilet was so close to the wall that it was hard to actually sit on it. The shower stall had some mold on the ceiling and walls. Nothing too traumatic.

The included breakfast was pretty generic. The breakfast room is on the top of the building so had cool view though.

I give this place 3 points instead of 2, because the mattresses were very comfortable and provided some much needed good nightsleep.

The hotel is a 10 min walk from train station. My room was specifically tiny, as I could see from other open rooms that I passed by, not all of them have the same size, so don't pick the 507.
Pros: quiet, amicable staff, nice breakfast.
Cons: very, very small room, too Brighton in the morning, the bath area is open so, after the shower everything gets wet (toilet paper, floor, your stuff).
Expensive for what offers.

On our last day in Machu Picchu we were in desperate need of an iphone charger cord. We were frantically searching for a retail store to purchase this item, with no success. On our way to the train station we saw the Waman Hotel and thought someone there would be able to direct us to a store that would sell apple products. We spoke to front desk staff Erica, who conferred with Roxann. As a result Erica searched her desk and found a used cord and graciously gave it to us. Their outstanding kindness and generosity was much appreciated and they are priceless assets to this hotel.

The rooms are tiny, food so-so, but it's clean, modern, and kept up well. The staff pleasant and accommodating, and there's a nice view from the room. And you're not coming to Aguas Calientes to stay in your hotel room right? So a good choice as a waypoint for your Machu Picchu adventure. It's relatively high on the hill, convenient to everything, and the prices moderate.

Room Tip: Higher floors are probably quieter and quicker to access the 6th floor buffet.

We arrived to a friendly face at reception followed by a wonderful shower and a nice warm bed.Rooms are not large but there is plenty of room for two. Breakfast had a good variety of freh fruit, breads and dont forget to order your hot breakfast off the menu. All in all a comfortable stay. Highly recommended.
