Pros:
Great food and service with nice wine with dinner. Good tours and activities. Enjoyed free use of kayaks, snorkel gear and paddle boards. Good walking paths and beach walks.

Cons:
Didn't deliver hot water shower (as advertised) then ran out of cold water on last day. The door to "bathroom" could barely be forced open. Use of single hose faucet as bathroom sink fixture leads me to believe that owner has no intention of ever providing hot water to sink. In general owner seems to be hiding behind "rustic eco-cabin" label as an excuse to dismiss customer concerns about delivering on cabin "basics".
Was able to negotiate a credit for shortcomings experienced during our stay but would have preferred to not have booking over- valued in first place.

Dear customer

We really appreciate you appreciated all we had to offer to you. I am very sorry for the hot water but as we have explained to you various times, we just had 20 days without rain and we ran out of rain water. Luckily, we still have well water so you did not have to close the hotel and you could come and enjoy our place. Unfortunately we cannot heat up the well water and provide hot water shower during those very hot days. I have accepted to reimburse you one fight of the cost of your entire stay for the lack of hot water. Yes we provides hot water all the other days of the year as you can see that there is no other complaint about hot water. In our regular bungalow, hot water is provided at the shower not in the sink. This was a very extreme situation, now it rains again and all is in order.
Thank you for giving me an opportunity to explain how we work in extreme situations as the ones we had while you were here with us.

This place was absolutely magical - it is quiet and slow and pure beauty. We had our 4-year daughter and she loved it. The water was safe and the shells and white sand were endless. The place was clean and built with love. The kitchen is well stocked. Dinner at Al Natural was so lovely. The staff is amazing. It's safe and absolutely wonderful here!

Stayed 2 nights at resort -glamping that is camping w perks.
Bungalow very rustic open air so you hear all the lovely sounds of ocean and jungle.
Beds comfortable w mosquito netting (tuck in under bed to avoid any sneaking in at night). Pack mosquito spray and flashlight as solar lighting in huts only lasts an hour or two when we stayed.
If bats in hut, spiders or other insects within huts bothersome for you you may not enjoy stay here.
The meals that are included in stay are communal style in that all guests share table and give a wonderful opportunity to meet people from all over the world.
Breakfast and dinner good and the supper meals outstanding gourmet quality. Fresh fish
Offered both evenings and prepared by a 5 star chef.
Water taxi from Bocca del Torro took approx 40 minutes and if weather rough would make for very bumpy ride but very nice to see surrounding areas.
Bring suntan lotion, a couple good books (no wifi) kick back and relax. Resort did offer diving and snorkeling (snorkeling very poor right at resort as water murky) but nice to swim and cool off.

Only had one day to go diving but wish we would have had many more days to spend with Federico! I haven't been diving in a year so Federico took the time to go over important points with me in a very detailed, thoughtful (and non-condescending way). I have been diving in Belize and all over SEA and it's really a mixed bag the level of professionalism you receive, but Federico really impressed me with his knowledge and made me feel like where we were going and what we were doing was clear, but he was also charming and engaging and we had a blast in the water! The gear was also gorgeous and brand new which was just a further reflection of the excellent caliber of Federico and his dive shop. Will definitely be coming back!!

My husband and I stayed at Al Natural Resort for 5 days in December 2016. It was an incredibly unique place to stay with every bungalow having an unobstructed view of the Caribbean Sea. There are 3/4 walls on 3 sides and a curtain at the front of the bungalow which you can close at night, which was great when it got windy or rainy. We had amazing weather and only had rain in the evening, which definitely made things more atmospheric, but the bungalow kept us perfectly dry and cozy even when the night rains picked up. There are excursions to go on most days, though it's also lovely spending time kayaking, snorkeling, or walking around the property. The bungalows were also kept incredibly clean, which is not always an easy feat when you are surrounded by sand and do not have full walls. We were very impressed overall and the chef, Vincent, provided us with some of the best meals we had on our two week trip!
