Its wonderful to have both good food and music together. They should and they don't always. Depot 48 manages to do both. The place is small and cozy and the management runs an excellent kitchen supported by excellent service. All good things to be said, we had a great time.

Had an amazing time here!! Everything we ordered food wise was awesome. Nachos and pasta, pizza are a must try! The presentation of the food was very nice and I loved it. Service and ambiance was too good! Would definitely recommend for a get together or grabbing drinks with friends.

Whether it's the number of followers you gain or the number of likes you get on your photos/videos on any social media platform, an increment by this number always seems like a reason to smile about as achieving it is nothing short of a mini milestone. Infact if you consider getting it as marks then this mini milestone turns into the biggest happiness you can derive out of those soul sucking exams. Numbers have always had a major role to play in our lives and are considered as clear indication of one's success or failure in life whether based on the numbers in your bank account or the rank in your office.

I don't know how many of you have noticed but numbers have slowly crawled into the food industry as well as quite a lot of them have started naming their outlets by including a number of relevance to them in it. Whether it was the recently visited 38 barracks which had the number 38 in it as a reference to its address in the area or an outlet like Batli29 that has the number 29 in it referring to the last two digits of pin code of that particular area in which it is operational, numbers are beginning to impact naming an outlet. The success of such outlets is further promoting the use of this concept and whether used for relevance or blind superstition, the concept is proving to be a big hit these days and is rapidly being adopted by many others as well. Depot48 predecessor Depot29 was one of the first places to adopt this technique and its huge success led to this outlet in Delhi-110048 named Depot48 accordingly.

Located in Greater Kailash which is home to some of the most affluent families of Delhi/NCR and has two of the most popular markets in Delhi/NCR, the M and N Block markets, shopping & eating out goes hand in hand in this region and thus there is no dearth of quality food outlets in these markets, many of whose names are known to foodies all over Delhi/NCR and feature prominently in such people's wish list to visit.

I was here last Sunday afternoon with a couple of friends and simply loved their idea of designing the entrance with cassettes placed in between iron bars on both sides of it. The posters and design work done on the walls was simple and was done in the most effective way possible. Since the place is spread over a single floor it has not much space to offer and can hold up to 40 people only in one go. Even in such small space they have two types of seating, one a lounge like one with dim lighting right next to the bar and the other one bright and sunny being next to a large glass window on the opposite side of the room.

We settled down on the latter and ordered their three cheese cigar rolls which got served with smoked red pepper sauce and were presented in a circular plate having designs made on it using the same sauce, an effort which certainly earned them some brownie points in my book. Chilaquiles was a dish that had tortilla chips tossed in red tomatillo sauce, feta, coriander & chopped onion and was an absolute stunner. To try some variation of the normal fries, we had the parmesan truffle ones here that along with some of their signature cocktails that included depot spice, old fashioned, negroni and the classic whiskey sour made for an amazing start to the meal.

Done with the bar bites and bar delights we tried their quesadilla and tacos for mains. The sweet corn, jalapenos and goat cheese quesadilla was liked by all as it had something for everyone, corn for those who like sweet stuff in their food, jalapenos for those looking for some tanginess and cheese which obviously everyone loves. The taco was a soft shelled and not a hard shelled one and had vegetables with caramelized onions inside. Both the dishes tasted great. As there is no ending any meal without having sweets so banana and toffee waffles were ordered for the desserts and served with vanilla ice cream it was a fitting farewell to this wonderful place.

For a place not even a year old, earning this much popularity in such a short time can be largely attributed to its finger licking food, variation of drinks and quality service. If you are looking for something new and fresh near GK, you know now where to go.

We went there with friends on 29th December at 9 pm. They had a superb English band playing. They were rocking it . Its a small place and you could see everyone enjoying it. Tried their cocktails and all of them were very good and came quickly. Service was with a smile and prompt. Their burgers were excellent.
