“Want a bad memory? Then stay at this bedsit”
Reviewed 25 February 2012

The worst stay you will ever have in this hotel, if it can be called that, is next to Juhu beach so it makes you think it is a nice place to stay. So wrong, the staff barely speak English and do not want to help you one bit. The rooms were old and shabby, to me looked like an old office block was converted rather then hotel. The bedsheets had stains all over them and smelt like old sweat. The shower had no hot water for the first night (even after we told them they did nothing), the mattress was a very, very thin piece of foam so felt like you were just sleeping on a piece of wood. Me and my friend stayed there but were only given one towel and every time we asked for another they just made out lke they didn't speak English. Rats outside, and the toilet was minging and small, o small it almost felt lke you are having a shower with one foot in the toilet (sorry but it really was that small, no sower curtain or anything just a shower head) what made it worse is that Holiday Inn was just £10 more per night but that is a trusted bradn with clean bed and a matress and decent shower/toilet. NEVER stay here unless you want a bad back dirty toilet cold water and mardy service. Plus no taxi driver or rick shaw know were it is because it is tucked away

Room Tip: for £10 more holiday inn i so much better, trusted hotel. Plus in a city like mumbai unless you pay...

This is one of the many rundown hotels in India, where you can still see that it once must have been a charming place, but several decade of not undertaking any maintenance have turned it into a rather sorrow state. The location is good though, just opposite the 5 star Sea Princess which faces the beach. The hotel is on Juhu Tara Road, which has a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants. You can walk to the beach with all its snack stalls in about 10 minutes. The hotel has very few facilities, but does arrange complimentary airport pick-up and drop, even in the middle of the night. There is no wi-fi and no phone in the room. So this place is for experienced travelers to India with no expectations other than getting a bed to sleep on.

Room Tip: Avoid the rooms with no windows

This hotel is located close to Juhu Beach - and that's about its only advantage. The entire hotel, including our room, was overflowing with mosquitos. We had to spray mosquito repellent under our door and around all the windows and wear some to bed and that still wasn't enough. The rooms were also small and windowless - very claustrophobic. Would try to find somewhere else.

Horrible is the word for this Hotel! Plaster were coming off the walls. Toilets were in mess. Seepages on the wall. Tiny rooms! Pathetic Service! If you pay for airport-transfers, this Hotel shall not come to pick you up. You have to call them several times and only then they shall realise yes one guest was to be picked up! No food is available inside the Hotel!

The room was quite disappointing for the price. Even with Mumbai being a bit more pricey, the room was not nearly worth the cost. The staff was also the worst I dealt with in all of India. They themselves impositioned my by their own admittance, told me they'd make up for it, then immediately after rescinded any claim of fault and refused to accommodate any of my requests. They would, however, do all this with a smile, so it was hard to be angry at them as people, only as businessmen.
