We have became big fans of Indian street food and pastries during our month in India so we were keen to try this place's famous onion kachuri when we visited Jaipur. It's a popular spot so we joined the queue at the cash counter before eagerly placing our order and joining the scrum of other excited patrons keen to pick up their tasty treats. I was surprised at the price - 35 rupees for each kachuri is high - but then again they are bigger than average. They were pretty good but really nothing that special. We also had some doda barfi, which is a bit like a flapjack but stickier. It was good. 100g serves two nicely and cost 40 rupees. All in all, quite enjoyable but maybe a bit over hyped and over priced.
