Stunning! We had a traditional India way of eating....with our hands. Loved it. Alot of food...different.

Shops are VERY cheap. No tips were allowed to be given to the entertainers.

You can go as you are...shorts and shirt.

I did not like the elephant rides as I am an extreme animal lover.

It's open for the family. Toilets a bit messy. Please note that there is only sand that you will be walking on.

Really pathetic and over rated. Lights were very dim. Unsafe for toddlers and elderly. Too many mosquitoes, just tooo many!! Food led to stomach infection. Horrible experience.

I visit it on 30th March after 8 yrs but I feel sorry the brand has become too big but the activities and food quality has come down. It's written not to pay tips but everyone is openly demanding it. In today's materialistic life we wish New generation to understand old heritage but pls. Keep it simple and improve food quality.

First of all I want to congratulate with the creator of this village, very impressive! We reached the place around 6 o clock booking an Ola car (around 300 rupees from Jaipur,is a little bit outside). At the gate there are two nice girls that welcome you put in your brow a red powder(sorry I don't know the name)for males and females. Then you have to pay the fee, there are two options: 700 rupees all incluse with Dinner buffet, 900 rupees all incluse with Royal dinner inside the restaurant with AC(we have choosen this one). Despite the little confusion with the cashier, we entered inside the village. Everything was managed with details and organization (very surprising for Indian Style)there was many activities: different type of dance, Puppet show, magician show, fire show, camel and elephant ride (even if I'm not agree with the animals ride concept)and many other things. The ambience, the atmosphere that you live inside carry you in an ancient time, in the real old and real Jaipur. This was really impressive. If you walk around the Pink City in the centre you feel just noise, crowd, and sometime you can understand the beauty of this royal city. Unfortunately many Indian cities are an open construction site, and is difficult to get the real essence of the beautiful culture. The Royal restaurant was very nice, with two live musician as entertainment. Thali food was very good(a little bit heavy for two italian used to eat simple pasta and pizza, but curious to taste traditional food).I really loved the lights, all the village was illuminated by a soft and calm yellow ancient lamps. Chokhi Dhani Village carries you in another world, clean, authentic and different. If you want to understand the culture, unfortunately you cannot catch inside the city but outside to this village.
