We stayed here for 4 nights.Great place. As soon as you enter you feel like home. Our room was Very comfortable and spacious with attached balcony. Relaxed there every morning with a cup of tea, chirping of the birds and the winter sunshine.
The rooms are well maintained and cleaned on daily basis. staff is very helpful, great team work. Breakfast is sumptuous, still remember well made omelettes we had every morning, made fresh to order.
The Kothi is away from the hustle and bustle of the city yet it is close to the city center to visit many of the places of interest as a tourist.
The garden is beautiful .
The owner Deepali, , is helpful and has many good suggestions for shopping, restaurants etc. This is a place I would definitely come back to and recommend .

Room Tip: room away from the main road are quieter, though at night it does not make a difference

Dear Guest,
Thank you for the detailed review.
So glad you made the most of your balcony. It is really nice early mornings as well as late evenings to sit out.
Breakfast is simple but made such that you are on a full stomach before going into a full day of tour.
Do come and stay with us again.
Warm Regards,

The Barwara Kothi is a gorgeous, boutique-style, historic hotel offering respite and reprieve from the hectic sounds and sites of Jaipur. The rooms with garden views and balconies were sublime! The antique furniture and black and white photos of royalty lining the hallways were absolutely lovely! Our beautiful host, her hard-working staff, the food and hotel amenities were excellent! This hotel is a MUST for all travelers! I highly recommend the Barwara Kothi to everyone seeking a great experience while traveling through Jaipur!

Room Tip: Top floor rooms with balconies and views to the garden are sublime! All rooms were large, spacious a...

It's a very nice place. Non intrusive and quiet. You can spend your day here in tranquil and soak in the environment. This place obviously will be better in winters. Sit in the lawn or the verandah or common hall with a book. You can even lounge in your room if you get one that is big enough.

Room Tip: Rooms on the first floor

We stayed here for 2 nights. Beautiful home in a clean, safe neighborhood that belongs to the family of a Raja. Our room was comfortable & well maintained. In the sections of the house that have rooms for guests, there are family photos & other momentos that truly distinguish this place from hotels. The family member who runs the kothi is friendly. She recommended a very good & reasonably priced restaurant.

A truly lovely place set in a posh and convenient location. The owner and staff of the place go all out to be helpful to ensure that your stay here is a cozy and comfortable one. Large and clean rooms that have been furnished with elegant period furniture remind you of the glorious history of this place. Were there any shortcomings? Perhaps. The place is close to a main road and the occasional blaring horn from a passing heavy vehicle at night penetrates through the double glazed windows (possibly through the door and not the windows, as I was told) to remind you of the times we live in! I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the place to any discerning traveller.
