Fairhope Avenue is beautiful and happening. Restaurants are super busy. Be prepared to wait 30-45 minutes to be seated. Music and shopping. It's all fun.

We stopped here on our drive to New Orleans. You will not find a lovelier main street area! It's filled with quaint local shops, art galleries, eateries, and flowers-lined sidewalks. Shopkeepers are super southern friendly. This is a must see while in this area.

We LOVE Fairhope. We always wind up walking around all the shops. You can find almost anything and plenty of good food. My favorite store is off Fairhope Ave though. I never miss the Page and Palette Bookstore. They are often featuring chances to meet famous authors, many of which have homes in the area. The employees are great and very knowledgeable about their books. They have renovated and added a coffee shop area and a bar area where they feature live music. If you love books, don't miss it!

So proud to take visitors down Fairhope Avenue. Great little shops, super friendly people and literally it looks like a Normand Rockwell painting. If you visit during the holiday and Mardi Gras season, the lights on the trees are simply Awesome!

Great job by the city and businesses of Fairhope for renovations and upkeep of downtown. Lots of trees and blooming flowers!
