Had dinner here just last evening. Wonderful experience from the moment we stepped through the door. We were greeted at once and immediately shown to our table even though we arrived 15 minutes before our reservation.
The interior decor of the restaurant is simple and elegant. There is a nice bar and the tables are not crowded.
Our server Cody, arrived at once to get drinks going and talk about specials. Can't say enough good things about Cody. Great personality, bright and witty, and very knowledgeable. I also appreciated his obvious respect for his employer and the chefs.
The food. Just perfect in every way. Wonderful fresh ingredients and cooked and presented flawlessly.
The dressing on our tomato salad was one of the best I have ever tasted.
We had the yellow fin tuna and flatiron steak entrees. Both were wonderful. The potato cannoli was one of the most creative and delicious accompaniments to an entree ever. The vegetables were cooked perfectly and the sauces were excellent.
I had the bourbon pecan pie for dessert and it was so good.
During dessert the owner, Ryan came to our table to introduce himself and thank us for coming in . The chef Chris also came out to greet us and talk about the food.
This was our first visit here as we are recent transplants to Fairhope but we will definitely be regulars to Camellia Cafe.

My husband and I we ignored for 10 minutes by the ent to eat dinner at this restaurant. We were ignored for 10 minutes and were never acknowledged or seated. Unbelievable attitude of the staff.

On our mini weekend getaway, we had the pleasant experience of coming to this fancy but friendly restaurant with some delicious eats. A well-curated wine list, a selection of appetizers that made it hard to choose only one, a steak oscar with crabmeat and potato gratin and a main fish entree perfectly prepared. Oh and the dessert, delightfully dessert-ful with a sumptuous pecan pie and a bread pudding to come back for again and again.

We had a party if four and ordered the crab cake appetizer and it was soooo good made with a lot of tasty crab. Three of us had the snow grouper special and one of us had the duck breast all of it was so good we all cleaned our plates. For dessert we had the cheesecake, lemon bars and bourbon pecan pie again nothing left it was an awesome meal it's not very often you go somewhere and thoroughly enjoy everything you eat. We will return again soon :)

The food was superb. Great seafood preparation, had the gulf grouper. My fellow diner had the steak and it was also cooked to perfection. Wait staff was on point; not too "hovery", but checking in, refilling wine glasses, making dessert suggestions. I love this type of dinning. You can tell the owner's have developed a great team with chef and staff. We will definitely be back!
