Owner description: Gulf State Park's two miles of beaches greet you with plenty of white sun-kissed sand, surging surf, seagulls and sea shells, but there is more than sand and surf to sink your toes into. Inside Gulf State Park there is a championship golf course, new beach pavilion, rental cottages, tennis courts, camp sites, 27 miles of paved/enhance trails and a fishing pier that is 20-feet wide and extends 1,512 feet into the Gulf. This and much more make Gulf State Park the perfect in-state vacation or out-of-state adventure.

Beautiful place well laid out easy access plenty of a activities. Bike, walk, fishing pier best in area. Friendly people. Biggest drawback is the use tax that comes with camping there.

There aren't a lot of tent sites, but what they have are private and nicely designed. The bath houses are huge and very uncrowded. Usually there was no one else in them. They rent bikes at the camp store and there are miles of trails to bike around. Close to beach and pier for fishing, swimming, sun bathing, etc.

We had a lovely time here. It was many many times better than our stay at nearby Meaher state park.

It would be hard to find a cleaner park than ours, I hope you will stay with us next time you visit the area, we have lakeside cabins, campground, cottages in the woods, beachside lodge will open early 2019.

The park is very nice. It has paved walkways for walking & bike riding. On our walk we spotted an eagle on its nest, a tortoise next to its nest and baby alligators sunning themselves. The only drawback is that the bikes keep whizzing past you and sometimes you hear them coming and sometimes you don't. I was startled a few times.

There are great walking trails in the park too that I personally love because they are quiet and bikes can't ride on them. Armadillo Trail is a fun one. Thanks so much for visiting us!

Enormous and varied nature trails, water and of course, the sandy gulf beach itself. Many activities for a family or a couple. Don't miss it.
