Amazing! This is one thing you won’t want to miss and where else can you walk off two miles after dinner and be happy?
The Festival of Lights covers just about everything a child can imagine including Dinosaurs! Impressive work all done by volunteers!

The weather was chilly but, we had a great time just walking thru the gardens and taking pictures. The grounds were kept very nice. I would love to come back in the spring and see everything in bloom. It's worth your time. There is a n entrance fee. There is also a children's dinosaur garden, very nice. There is also cafe and gift shop.

This was my first visit to the garden and it did not disappoint! I attended a family wedding in the "holly" courtyard which was absolutely perfect. The Grand Hall was a perfect size and beautiful as well!

Before I knew it, I had spent 3 leisurely hours strolling through this wonderful well thought out natural and landscaped gardens..What a stress reducer to walk in nature!

I have visited this place about 10 times in the last 5 years and see many things that are new every time. This time I was visiting in October and found the many scare crow exhibits that were creative and funny to see. The gardens are always changing their themes to keep pace with the seasons and holidays.

There are always many volunteers and local high school and college students planting flowers and plants. If, i lived in Huntsville area I would volunteer here.

I was surprised to see lots of flowers and butterflies still around as in the fall the temperatures typically drop. I was also surprised not to see the tree color changes for the same reason.

Also new was the kinetic sculptures which were fascinating to watch and great to see.

Because of the layout of the garden you can take an hour to many hours walking and not see the same things..

Also, a real bonus is their gift shop. I do not like to shop but was able to find a few things for our house and friends that are special and you will not find anywhere else in the shops of Huntsville.

This place is exquisite. Allow 3-4 hours to see most of it. I could go back again and again. Definitely a must see in Huntsville.
