Was closed. Web site is under maintenance. Is it still operating? Was very disappointed because all indications were it would be open that day. Was our plan to visit on a rainy day in Huntsville.

Don't get me wrong, the kids loved it, however, it wasn't worth the price of the admission. I was hoping for more and some of the exhibits were broken.

Fair amount of activities for younger children. Building is smaller than previous location so many exhibits did not move to this location. Because of the smaller footprint, the kids will finish the activities and will be ready to move on sooner rather than later.

While it did not look like much from the outside, looks were deceiving. Lots of hands on science fun to include quite a few interactive displays I had not seen at other similar type of science/explore centers. In addition to leaning about electric currents, the EM spectrum, and human body (to include interactive exhibits on sounds and smells the bodies makes) kids also could play with a green screen as a weather boy/girl, blow large bubbles and sit on a bench that shook to simulate different scale earthquakes. While we used our ASTC reciprocal membership, prices were very reasonable for the they offer, small snack area (chips, drinks) also avaiable

We live in Birmingham, so we're spoiled with the Mcwane Center. However, in the eyes of my 5yr old he said sci-quest was "awesome"! We will definitely go again.
