See Ashiyana for Part One.

So, south 3 hours from Mandrem to Little Khola. The driver had a bit of difficulty finding the place, it's not sign-posted (apparently by design) and the final approach is precipitous. But it's lovely when you get there. The resort occupies most of the beach - excluding a tented-bit at the other end. The huts directly on the beach have - it goes without saying - the best view. Then there's another set of huts in the central area that are more 'garden'. We had 2 days in each type - Beach = smaller, noisier (the sea at night sounds a bit like the M1), more charming; Garden = larger, quieter, less charming. You pays your money and you takes your choice...

A word about the huts. They are huts. Functional/ adequate/ rustic - choose your adjective but they are same kind of beach huts you'll find all over the world. The retreat doesn't have the aesthetic design of Ashiyana - It's all about the yoga.

And the yoga comes with a strict schedule: Tea or coffee brought to your door at 7am, yoga from 8, fruit from 10, lunch from 11.15, more yoga or meditation from 4, dinner from 7, bed. If you don't want to follow it, this probably isn't the place for you. But surrendering to it has it's own kind of relaxation.

Other than that, not much to say. The 4 days went by too quickly. In between the schedule I read Alan Moore on the beach and splashed around in the sea. As a Brit, there's no end to the amazement of swimming in a warm ocean...

As much as i'd selfishly like to keep Little Cove a secret, I have to say that this last week has genuinely been transformative. Bring your smile and warmth to this handpicked team. They are rare!

THANK YOU!

I want to start by saying- I rarely write reviews as I simply don't have the time. However for Little Cove it needed to be done..

If you need an escape from your busy, stressful life back home, Little Cove is the place for you. I loved the quiet, remote location, beautiful, clean beach and the fact everything is thought out for you during your stay! So much so, that it wasn’t until we Ieft Little Cola Beach, we felt the affect of how frustratingly slow and disorganised Indian culture can be. (I mean this in the nicest way possible  )

Little Cove picked me up from the airport in the middle of the night and showed me to my perfect little beach hut for the week. The 2-4 hr daily, yoga classes were amazing and I even gave the meditation a go on the rocks at sunset, with the rest of the group. Success! However it’s up to the individual how much you get involved in during the week and if you are a lone traveller, there is plenty of opportunity to make friends. Equally, if your there to escape from everyone and everything, it offers the same.

The vegetarian food was delicious and we were woken with tea and coffee each morning, to the sound of the lapping waves.

Recommendations- The Sunrise Dolphin trip is a must and the Massages are truly amazing! (I had two in fact-just prepare for intimacy).

Thank you to Paradeshi & the rest of his team for being so friendly throughout the week and for making us feel at home in India.
I’ve come back, feeling refreshed, healthy and toned from such a lovely retreat.

Looking forward to revisiting.

Room tip: Sea Front Twin Rooms were the best option when we viewed rooms at both sides of the property- However slightly noisy with the waves.

A total paradise, the food, the yoga, the location and mostly the staff make this place heaven on earth. I have never returned to England after a holiday feeling so relaxed, content, happy and present. I was thoroughly looked after the entire time and met some incredible people.
This place may not be as luxurious as other resorts you may find in Goa, but that is part of what makes it great. All part of the ethos of living simply. I can't wait to visit here again when I am in India again and hope to bring my Mum and sister.

Room tip: Request a beachfront, however all huts are AMAZING!

We have just spent a great week in Little Cove and did not want to leave this amazing place. Yoga teachers Pardeshi and Ravi have created something very special, a prefect place to relax and recharge.

The cottages are very simple and very nice, facing the ocean. The retreat is located directly on a beautiful small beach, not easily assessable for strangers. The water was warm and nice, inviting to bath and swim (it is possible to swim longer distances).

Haatha Yoga classes at 8 in the morning with Pardeshi were well balanced - with a lot of attention to breathing, good mix of poses, suitable for advanced and beginners.

Fresh fruits twice a day, mega delicious vegetarian food (brunch and dinner), tee and coffee, we were not missing anything, it was all just amazing.

In the evening we had a second session of yoga or meditation. Meditation at the sunset on the rocks at the ocean is something very special! Also the yoga in the evening with Ravi was great, with many valuable explanations and insights.

We have also booked massages twice and liked them a lot. It was perfect to have a deep tissues massage on the first day after a week of traveling in India, and it was so nice that we had a second one later in the week.

The place is absolutely beautiful, well managed, and offering everything you need to switch off, relax and enjoy. We have met great people there, and made new friends.

Thank you, Ravi and Pardeshi, Vijay and all others for everything, we will definitely recommend little cove to our friends, and some day hope to visit it again ourselves.

Room tip: We stayed in an ocean facing cottage, and it was great
